NO ONE is twisting your arm to pay. It's completely optional. Game Jolt wanted to do something more and worthwhile. While they do make an occasional random thing that's pretty odd and might not be to everyone's liking (anyone remember the poop event?), they still like to do things that are fun and do something that's worth doing.

Before jumping on the whole hate-wagon, no matter what it is, take a moment to think and research.

You're entitled to your opinion, which is understandable and deserves to be heard, but don't call the Joltbux useless. It is not. Don't like it, then just ignore it. Easy to do, no?

TL;DR: Research, be mindful, and don't hate on something you don't understand. Take a moment to think and don't be so quick to jump on the infamous hate-wagon.
