This whole Nintendo issue is going to HEAVILY cause problems for the game. I had a lot of stuff planned out with various characters that will have to be canceled now.

Already about 15 models I was using are gone now and my backups don't seem to be working. One major deletion is of the inkling models I was using so either I have to remove Claire from the game or just leave her in a very unfinished state.

If it really comes down to it then I might have to cancel most of the game and release it in a super underwhelming state.

So much for this being a "remaster" if I have to cut more content than what the original had.

I'll see about using Blender for animating from now on since if Garry's Mod got attacked then SFM is definitely next considering most of the models uploaded to Gmod were ports from SFM anyways.

But if I have to use Blender then this game is definitely getting "canceled" considering learning Blender will take a LONG time which would push this game back by about 4-8 months since I'm already super busy with life so learning another program while already being busy would take too long.

Also I would rather not have a clash of "animation styles" considering how different Blender will look compared to Gmod.

I'm even at a point where I'm scared my games could be taken down since Nintendo just hates everyone.

Keep in mind even if I have to cancel everything I will still give you guys the game in the state it's canceled in so the wait won't be for nothing.

I'll try to give frequent updates as everything goes along but I'll still try to finish the game as best as I can.

Lastly, I would like to know what everyone thinks. If it came down to it and I can't fully complete the game what would be the best outcome? I could:

1. Fuck it, try to make it work with what I have now

2. Delay the game by about a year to learn Blender (I will use this time to also make other projects but if it comes to this I would rather just do option 1)

3. Rework 90% of the game to fit around the cut characters (I will LOSE MY MIND)

4. This shit fucked (cancel game and release it after polishing everything that's in the game)

Edit: So as of right now everything above still applies but someone did some digging and now it's a 50/50 if things will continue to go south. Someone contacted Nintendo in some form and was told that there was no takedown issued at the Gmod workshop but also the creator of Gmod said that it was Nintendo even after being informed of the guy false copyright claiming Nintendo content. This situation is so confusing...

Either way content was still removed and I cannot continue the progress of the game as intended.
