Alright, we've got a lot to unpack here. First, the game may be programmed by multiple members of the dev team, not just me! We're still not completely sure, though, so that's why the credits still list me as the only programmer. And on another programming-related note, Land of Licensing is going to be an open source game! Though, at the moment, considering we've barely got anything done yet, the source code is still private. But once more development has been made, you open source fans can rejoice! In other news, we're adopting a new style for the game. Before we were going to use a 16-bit style for the game, now the game will use a more art-y style! You probably have no idea what I mean, so as an example, here are some drawings of three members of the Ultra Gang (yes they are spm enemy recolors but.), the guards of the seven Creative Commons licenses, drawn by Viokirb:

Aaaaaaaaaand there's more. Today commemorates the first line of code (or, the first script written, or whatever. The point is we've implemented the first few lines of code into the game) written! So yeah, we're making some progress. Currently we're designing a title screen with an intro. It's still in progress, but it's going well.
And yeah. There's more. This is the last one, we promise. Our dev team now has a name: Shapes in Hats! Yeah it's definitely based on the concept of Land of Licensing. Here's our logo, also made by Viokirb:

Alright, now that finally wraps up today's devlog. See you next time, shapes!
...Should I make that my new ending catchphrase
