1: Firefox
Change whichever browser you have over to Firefox, it's literally the only secure non-profit browser that wont sell your soul away to advertisers.
2: DuckDuckGo
Once you have your setup, get DuckDuckGo or another trustworthy search engine. DuckDuckGo i trust to not sell off my stuff to anyone.
3: Sign as many petitions as you can versus corporations encroaching and closing in on your freedoms. Do NOT let these bastards get an inch, because they will take your face off to see whats inside your head like a book. What goes on in your head, your kinks, your loves and hates, your hobbies and jobs, they are between YOU and whatever god you worship, and NO ONE ELSE.
4: DO NOT HAND YOUR ID TO ANY ONLINE SERVICE
Beyond things like Alcohol and Smoke Shops, if you simply "hand" over your drivers liscense to some online service because they claim they'll "delete it right after" they're lying to your face. If you really think they wouldn't take this opportunity to start going powermad and writing everything you do to a file, with your FACE and NAME and AGE, then you haven't been paying attention.
5: Tor Browser
Before you all pull back, hear me out. I know it has a rep for the shady business, BUT we can use this to our advantage versus state and national governments trying to geolocate you via other means if you're using VPN or Firefox only. Tor is probably the ultimate secure site. I'd use it as secondary to Firefox since it's slow thanks to every data stealing company trying to throttle them, but it damn well works on circumventing laws.
6: If all else fails, buy a VPN. Preferrably ExpressVPN or NordVPN since those two have No-Logs Policies and they've been taken to court to try showing their records, and each time they showed nothing which is good for us!
Sorry if the list is a bit haphazard I wrote it a while ago.
