So, I've been nagged to go through all of the stuff in my room and dispose of what I don't need. So I've been slowly chipping away at that...
Today, I targeted my drawer full of drawings. Basically a bunch of fan art, writing, a practice exam paper, and also...
Old OCs of mine.
These OCs were developed for projects that I never dedicated myself to, so the designs have been sitting dormant for...a couple of years. Heck, there's probably more concepts I have, and I just need to keep searching for them. I have an entire folder of drawings, so some more ideas could be in those...
And I've been struggling for character ideas for this game, so I've decided that I'm going to take those old OCs, tweak them to match the game's setting, and add them in.
I'm gonna name-drop these OCs, some background info on them, and what their names could be changed to. I may or may not drop some of the old art for these OCs shortly after this post.
Tanosii - Came from an Idea for a Backrooms videogame, where she was the queen of the partygoers and their point of origin. Her name means "Fun" in some other language I think. Her name could be changed to "Taneesha" or I could choose a Japanese name that starts with "Tan"
Caroline - They were a DDLC version of GLaDOS, so I might change their name to "Carol" or something.
Felinia - Originally a cat-girl psychopath in another concept, which will be developed someday, but not yet. Their name will be changed to "Felicia".
Kassidy - Probably one of my first proper OCs. I at one point changed their name to "Katrya" or "Katya" which I may or may not do for this project.
Sylvi - She began life as a concept for a BIOS-style virtual assistant named "Martha". She had that name because my dad called the voice assistant in his car that name. That concept evolved into an idea for a malicious AI that uses a dead girl as it's base personality and as a conscience. The name would either stay the same or be reverted back to "Martha".
Doloria - Her origin was from a concept I had for a horror game named "Hide and seek", where an anime fan has to fight for his life when his "waifu" comes to life and wants to kill him. Doloria is that antagonist. The game's protagonist is the type of guy who would put anime figurines in jars and stuff. I might rename them to either "Donna", "Doreen" or "Dolores"
