Some context, and a playable build!


Okay, so recent events had me thinking that it would probably be ideal to just take Obliteraider off of the bench and make it the project to lead off my recent game development attempts.

(And ultimately see if this would be a viable alternative to working in retail.)

To kick it off, I'm dropping the most recent build that features a few powerup types to try out, a few enemies and obstacles to blast away, and a boss to take on.

I know there's not got a lot going on, but I hope you all enjoy trying it out!

Next up

While I chip away at the code for XL, I might as well show off the fruits of another thing I had tinkered with: modding custom music into Bionicle Heroes.

Yeah, we're doing this.

First signs of danger.

That time of year again.

Suppose it was about time that some of these skills got a little extra kick.

New look, new direction.

New project is having a fun, early outing.

I know it's completely unintentional, but I swear this is the universe trying to convince me to dig my old handiwork out of retirement and do something with him.

So, Plan B: The remainder of tonight will run V1 of a solo OCN mode, with an updated version coming tomorrow during the end of the con.

(And a further refined public release of this later on. If there's interest.)
