Perseverance: Full Clearance

Some cool guy is doing a let's play and he's rad!

You should definitely check it out if you’re the sort who likes to watch others play games!

Also status report:
I’ve mostly been relaxing after the heavy demands of releasing and then maintaining this game, but I will be making some updates, I will resume work in November, right now I’m having fun enjoying some free time this october, I’m doing Inktober, as well. For those of you who got someways into the game, you may have come across Malibu the Tainted, who is on screen for about 5 seconds then gets rekt.

That is how I’d imagine she sorta looks.

Also I did a concept of Pep and his split psyches divided but also whole as a sort of early imagining of his Cherubim form.

Spookarooni, huh?

I’ve quite a lot planned for the final mix.
-Boss Colliseum or some such that can be accessed from the main menu, basically this will be a place you can try out the bosses in their regular modes, as well as on an uber difficult mode which will be like a challenge encounter. This is all separate to the main game so as to avoid difficulties with flags and switches.

The main story will have several optional bosses spread throughout, including Tiramisa, Member XII, some silly girls from another story, possibilities are also these couple of crazies.

There will also be difficulty modes, basically the only real difference will be in recovery items or abilities. Basically there will be normal difficulty (current standard), Hard difficulty (gumballs heal 20 HP instead of 50 HP, and passive regen of the devil trigger is about halved.)

Then for you lunatics/masochists/overachievers, there’s is the PERSEVERANT difficulty, gumballs simply won’t spawn, EVER. HP regen will be at like 10% or 20% of the usual or something.

For those of you who have gotten far in this game, you know just how screwy that is.

I will also make these difficulty settings a thing in the colliseum or whatever i end up calling it. The promenade, the promaetheum? Has to be something thats starts with P.

OH, THE PIT.

yes.

maybe, we’ll see.

i’m also gonna be making some changes to a couple currently empty feeling bossfights, such as the Blood Council.

Soulcatchers are also going to become more difficult, as in, they will be able to fly now, (no more getting em stuck on furniture), their move routes will also be a bit less predictable. overall they will feel much more dangerous than they did already. They are also getting a cosmetic upgrade

Dread Pigs are dumb, and they will stay that way. However their appearance is due for an update, and their art style clashes with the rest of the game, this same thing applies to Warth’og, it’s intended that both of those things will be corrected in final mix.

Lastly, it’s likely Tiramisa will be getting a few voice lines, depends if my grandmother will be up for it. For sake of reference, my grandmother is almost 90, which is 20 years past Tiramisa’s age in the game, but you only sound so old. My granny is clear and easy to understand, she’s also a perfectionist, it just depends if she’ll be down for giving it a go.

While I may not be working on much this month, I am still growing my talents, practically always— I’m doing art each day of this month, and I’ll also be streaming me playing some games at various points in time.

If I get bored, I might do a let’s play of PFC with my own voice acting, and I have a sort of head-canon for most of these characters, and can voice them semi-competently, outside of Esperia, Naxon and Warth’og. I’m also the voice of Pep and Xepp, so that’s a thing.

Anyway, gonna be a nice chill month, then november, keep your eyes peeled, as I’ll likely be back into dev then.

One of the cool boss fights coming to Demo 3 for the main story of Fantasia! This shade-slingin' skeletopian knows how to party- and is most happy to teach you!

Enjoy, a preview of what's to come~!

So yeah cinematic remasters are coming along, only 4 remain and they are all fairly small orders. All the major cinematic overhauls are done!

See how nature breathes and exerts its many beauties in this place? This is the kind of life and atmosphere you may expect from most maps come Demo 3.

Just some of the many glorious new faces appearing in Demo 3~!

Been working on upgrading a lot of the maps to flourish them with life and even more atmosphere! Many of these will be recognized by Demo 2 Players, but some are yet virgin territory.

Just some exciting screenshots of progress! This is but a mere spec among an immensity but it should be enough to whet your appetite!

I feel bad that you will have to tolerate the old version of this now until Demo 3 comes out, this is such an outstanding upgrade!

Gameplay Trailer for Demo 3 accompanied by the characters doing them. All main story boss-fights are now complete, too. Outside of one cinematic- the Main story for Demo 3 is complete!

Some of the optional content is being worked on, at present I'm setting up new systemic optimizations to ready us for the droves of optional content to come. The first assets to be made were parallaxes to use when the starship is orbiting a world.

Fighting a Devilcat of this magnitude would be suicidal for most people... it's just as well than that you aren't "most people"! Poor one out for Denise Ding: Tiramisa's superb voice actor.
