In this devlog, i’d like to talk about the two new areas that’ll be added.
Please keep in mind that they may or may not be final.

Let’s start then, shall we?
Steamywinds
This area lays between Waterfall and Hotland. It’s looks a lot like Waterfall, minus the fact that because it’s near Hotland, there’s a lot of steam. The place is filled with geysers, erupting every now and then. When first discovered, monsters tried filling it up with technology, because of all the eventual power sources. They eventually found Hotland more fit for it, so they eventually moved there. however, folks are trying to build it up again. A lot of monsters left, except a few ones, liking the temperature.

Spider’s Nation
After the (unfortunate) events of Undertale, when the monsters were seeking a ruler, Muffet insisted on her becoming queen. The monsters were quick to reject her, however, since they were afraid she would make spiders superiour to the rest of monsterkind. And so, Papyrus was elected.

Muffet, wanting to take revenge, crowned herself as queen of spiders. She soon conquered pieces of land, constantly wanting to expand her reign. She even went as far as taking over HUGE parts of the CORE, wich is the reason they’re trying to make Steamywinds a new powersource. The rest is spoilers, i”m afraid.
