It's been a long time since I made my last announcement regarding Nukezero... So I wanted to talk about what I have in mind for the game, the direction I want it to have, and more!!
So, what do I have in mind?
I've already talked about the main concept of the game in its GameJolt Page: A postapocaliptic survival game. But, what is so special about it?
Well, I want the game to be based specially in procedural generation. What I mean with that it's that is that every single piece of the map will be randomly generated (House interiors, shops, streets, obviously terrain, etc.). In that way, every place you explore in your world will be unique, without any repeated building.
Note: Procedural generation will likely be the most time consuming part of the game development.
The game will also follow a main story, which the player will slowly follow as they progress in the game and will also contain some lore the player can analyze.
I have a lot of content notes for this game, I will update this article from time to time.
About the game direction.
Here I'll talk about how the the game will evolve through development.
While developing the game, I will record some gameplay of things I am testing so anyone can watch and leave feedback of what they think.
Then, the game will enter an Alpha phase, the game will be publicly available on GameJolt for free.
When it reaches the Beta phase after some alpha updates, the game will be paid.
After Beta, the Full game will be available on Steam and GameJolt to buy.
I'm not sure if the game will be ported to consoles/phones, that's something I'll see when the game Fully releases.
I don't know what to talk about more, leave your questions in the comments and I will be happy to answer them!
