Some Version 4.0.0 discussions, regarding what will be changed or added.


This might be the best time for us to discuss plans for ONaB Mania's new Wave 4 changes and additions, which will be what to expect.


The Revamp/Overhaul of ONaB1 Z's AI

The AI of Z, however, was one of the most oldest AI created during the development of ONaB Mania. Ever since then, I have then made a conclusion that Z's AI, or, mechanic, is going to be planned to be changed.

Before: He will walk through the office for a bit and blindspots you. Once he enters attack state, fool him with the mask as quick as possible. However, he only attacks once.

After: Zerty will appear on your monitor. Have your monitor activated at 2AM and 4AM to avoid his attack! The doors cannot stop him.

This might be the best time to recode his entire AI, giving him a whole new mechanic to himself! Instead of fooling him with the mask, you best put that monitor on at certain times!


Has development been halted?

No, there's never gonna be a halt in development unless something happens to me. At the moment, I'm still planning to add more characters and patch the game eventually. Just currently focusing on other projects that are also in the works as well, I'm only a solo developer using TurboWarp to make games.


Quality Improvements

Quality WILL be improved somewhat, but we'll focus on a whole ton of other quality of life improvements, and updating the graphics to our current budget of quality.

Quality improvements include some renders, and some other upgraded stuff I don't wanna list, to prevent spoiling everything else.


Wave 4 Update Open Beta?!

Yes, you heard me right! We're giving everyone a chance to officially try Wave 4 in an open beta phase ONLINE on GameJolt to get your chance to see what will be available in the next update! We don't have an exact date yet, but a trailer will be dropped announcing the open beta.


This is all I can talk about for the large Wave 4 update, its still in the works at the moment so I might share some sneak peaks in the devlogs eventually, as long as its not too major.
