Here are some fun facts about Sonic Color's file select screen:

Sonic Colors on Wii is the only version to have a file select system. I don't know why it was removed in Colors Ultimate.

The game can preselect a random name from a list of Sonic character names when first naming a save file. The names go as follows

• Sonic

• Tails

• Knuckles

• Amy

• Cream

• Big

• Blaze

• Silver

• Charmy

• Espio

• Vector

• Shadow

• Rouge

• E-123

• Eggman

• Orbot

• Cubot

• E-102

• Emerl

• Jet

• Storm

• Wave

• Tikal

• Chaos

Interestingly, E-102 and E-123 are listed with the first half of their name instead of the more widely known Gamma and Omega, respectively.

Another interesting thing is that most characters fit into a category of 3 characters (i.e. Team Sonic, Team Rose, Team Dark, etc.), even Tikal and Chaos would belong in a group (an SA1 group with E-102). There are 3 characters that don't follow this trend though, Silver, Blaze, and Emerl.

While Silver and Blaze would belong to a Team Future, Emerl is an odd one out. Since he is the only one in the list to originate from a handheld game, he doesn't belong to any group. Poor Emerl
