Review Part 1

a different name a year ago labeled sonic 2020 episode shadow of the water i think this game has so much promise that i felt my skin jump and my back feeling cold mainly from my spinal area the voices all be it more or less average but still great to listen to it's like a fangame for the fans who loved the franchise came and made a unreal engine empire reign but enough with the personal love from it it is time for the huge details and what made me rate the game 6/10 (well 8/10) the movements are fluent and well the camera is unreliable sometimes just like some normal licensed sonic games sonic heros sonic unleashed and sonic generations ect. mind you i love these games with all due respect the homing attack is very unbalenced and sometimes doesn't even work which when you need it especially on that shadow stage while angling the camera in the gun training area with the rail that takes you to the hoops and make you fall to your death over and over and over again it was a surprise i even made it to the last part of the stage let alone finish the fangame for what it had so far.

the game starts with one day sonic was relaxing home you can clearly see the love this game was made with dealing that there are items that were in the other games and Chris mother fucking Thorndyke from 4kids show Sonic X in with an extra thing being the phone (that i don't think was in a single game) so that is all i can say anyways tails slowly showing up with the radio mentioning about some disturbance that was happening with Professor Robotnik (which is basically ivo robotnik which is his cannon name for those who don't know) but sonic and co call him eggman stealing the chaos emerald again which was located in the new gaia temple from the cold ruins region sonic and tails get ready for the adventure but was needing to repair the hyper tornado so sonic instead insisted by tails "stretches his legs cause he needs the cardio since he gained a few pounds" this is which brings us to our first stage Wellspring and i must say it is shockingly a great introduction for the buttons and mechanics the level is gorgeous and feels if it was longer like a first stage to sonic unleashed which is pleasing to the course well anyways sonic has these abilities and i will list them naturally.

now onto what happens after the first stage

sonic and tails fly together through wellsprings and we get to see our echidna friend. guarding the master emerald but felt the storm was coming.

Sonic and tails are encountered by G.U.N while tails and sonic were flying (this is before they got the hyper tornado.)
