We're doing astrology in Science class, so I have a theory about the moon post-SA2.

Everyone complains about how the moon sometimes has a huge chunk taken out of it, and other times looks fine. It's annoying, yes, but maybe it could be explained.

Theory 1:

Our Earth has two moons starting like 2 years ago, and the planet in the Sonic Universe is Earth, so maybe the Sonic Universe takes place in the near future or in an alternate universe where the second moon arrived early.

Theory 2:

In Sonic Superstars, a moon that appears to look like 'The End' is in the background of the final level (Not remembering the name because this game is my worst nightmare). One of the most recent canon games, Sonic Frontiers features this moon as the final boss. This means that at very least, the end sat near Earth for around 10 years at least. The unbroken moon only appears in modern games aside from Superstars, so maybe that unbroken moon is 'The End'.

[I know that they said the colour of the moon was only a reference, but I don't care]

This was nuts.
