Hey there! I’ve just finished update v5, and with that came the game’s soundtrack. It’s disponible to be heard in the game’s Game Jolt page ( http://gamejolt.com/games/platformer/omg-the-ground-is-falling/45990/) and I’ll probably add it to Band Camp later on. The game’s v5 is also available to be downloaded there. Here’s a brief changelog:
*Fixed maps - some maps needed some tweaking. It has been done.
*Full soundtrack added - the game now has 9 songs, 7 play in-game, one plays on the menu and the other plays on the score screen.
*Pause function - by pressing Esc, you can pause the game. Press it again to unpause. That’s all that there is to it, seriously.
*Better control of sound - in the settings, you can now decide the volume of the in-game sounds. I had to rework the entire sound system to make this possible, and now every sample in the game plays in a different channel. Sound is cleaner because of that.
*Bugs fixed - you probably won’t need to type in “maps” before you can play the game. Also, pressing E no longer makes ‘?’ blocks fall. And Goldies and Bombies now kill you.
My next aim for v6 is a bunch of new levels. Stay tuned! :)
