On 16th of October Based_Guy01 published a very good video called "Ranking Every Dusttale take (From Worst to Best)" (if you didn't watch it, here's a link: https://youtu.be/34SXfHbrNJ0) There was interesting takes on dusttale, but one take catched my attention with their music and their style.
that was SP!DUSTTALE
Necroptosis was banger, and I listened to it like almost every hour. (not kidding lol)
Not long ago (on 26th of October) @Ars_ got an idea make another gamejam but with SP!DUSTTALE necroptosis track. But I though, that it would be better to make gamejam about whole SP!DUSTTALE OST.
Rules were simple:
Make a simple fight with one track from SP!DUSTTALE in short period of time (from 10.28 to 11.04)
Make all coding stuff during this period (attacks, menu, and etc)
You can prepare sprites, music, and text before jam and even put it in project folder.
Be a good person! (Ars not fits it lol)
And I can say, that was a really fun event!
There were good aspects here, such as new games based on this AU, or the popularization of SP!DUSTTALE among people (maybe not that big, but still).
But there was a fly in the ointment. One of the participants mentioned the presence of "rape" in his game, and this entailed not very positive consequences, like the myths about the presence of such in the original. However, I dare to note that there is nothing like that in the original.
We are not without sin in this situation, as we did not form any significant rules for this event. Previously, such events were more local in nature, which is why there were no rules as such, but from next time we will try to avoid such incidents.
After collecting all the participants' opinions, we are ready to announce the results of this "competition":
1: @azzy2935
3: @onezhazha
Their works are really good examples for other game developers. (idk lol). If they can create such cool fights in this period of time, then anything is truly possible.
there were also participants, but sadly not all people finished in time (like me), but don't worry, their work is still in development and will be published when it's ready.
For now, I highly recommend you to check finished things:

You will be notified if any of us finished our game, but for now it's farewell.
Thank you for reading, sigma nation!
