Additions

  • New item called "DifficultCheese" that heals 200 HP over time. (Half immediately, the other half next turn.) You can retrieve it in the first "Nightmare" room by backtracking.

  • Near the end of the "TV" segment, you can interact with "Tenna" to input a 4 number code. Depending on the code you put in, different things may happen. Feel free to experiment!... (...or just look in the source to see which ones actually work or are planned for future updates...)

  • Replaced 2 "MEMORY" cutscenes to be more relevant to ROSY-TROVE's story, and higher quality. (Deleted one, and moved another to "Tenna.")

  • New penultimate ending scene tying previous "MEMORY" segments together.

  • Overhauled "soundscape" for "MEMORY" cutscenes due to lack of visuals.

  • Added animated floating tutorial markers that indicate climbable areas when graphics make it less clear.

  • New effects for scripted tension loss and gain in FEAR TP battles.

  • New effects for entering "MEMORY" segments.

  • Full support for Linux! (Untested.)

  • A new intro splash. (With ROSY-TROVE's shoutout to Kristal included.)

  • Achievement Icons! (...except for 2.)

  • Borders!

  • Some tracks have been re-exported with minor new additions/changes for higher quality.

  • New release format! Both .exe and .love files for both ease of use and compatibility. Saves are not compatible between the Kristal Mod version and this release. When/if future smaller games are made, this release will be given its own page as an "anthology" of sorts. For now, it stays on this page.

  • Added content warning for potentially sensitive content. (Some stuff has changed, so, the warning is only reflective for what is currently in the game.)

Bug Fixes & Balance Changes

  • Reduced the frequency of bullets in many of the SPECIL EMENY's attacks.

  • Reduced the frequency of bullets in a couple of the      's attacks.

  • Fixed a bug that could make the final attack of Phase 1 impossible if you had your FPS capped higher than 30.

  • Shrunk the Rosylings' hitboxes by half.

  • Guarding during FEAR TP battles now lowers tension by 5% instead of raising it by the normal amount.

  • Fixed an oversight wherein X-Slash's damage did not double after the final attack of Phase 1 like normal attacks do.

  • Fixed a bug that made it so Ramb didn't disappear in a scenario when he should have.

  • Fixed a bug that caused the      s to inflict 25% more TP with the "CELL" act than intended.

  • Fixed a crash if you were to reboot the game after completion.

Miscellaneous Changes

  • Just generally cleaned up code a good bit outside of bug fixes. (More files touched than not.)

  • Changed Kris' title for consistency with the Weird Route.

  • Added essential sound effects. (Vine boom.)

  • Added 1 Dark Candy to your initial inventory for another source of healing.

  • Made it so you start with a random amount of Dark Dollars for consistency for where a player might be at this point in DELTARUNE.

  • Numerous smaller changes.
