Happy Spooktober, Duelists!

The Halloween season has rolled around once again, and in Cosmic Hat Games tradition, that means it's time for some specially themed costumes! This year, we've brought you three of them: Invisible Man Johnson, Witch Lumina, and Rag-Z, the latter of which is a new character-swap costume for Derrick! Like other character-swap costumes, he's functionally identical to Derrick, but features some unique animations to add a little more flavour!

As an extra bonus, we're also throwing in a new crossover costume: Star Guardian Annie, based on the game 8-Colors Star Guardians + by our good friend Andrea Demetrio! It's a charming, bite-sized, sentai-inspired RPG about a dysfunctional group of heroines trying to save the world! It's got a heavy focus on strategy, which introduces some cool puzzle elements to the game's combat, and its cast of characters is an absolute treat! You can buy the game on Steam, and for only 5 dollars, it's WELL worth the purchase!

To compliment these new costumes, we've also added a couple new Missions to unlock some of them, and we've done the usual bug fixing as well.

Also, in case you missed it, this will be the last content update for Duels of Fortune for a few months, as we're taking a break from this game in order to work on a new side-project. Working on the same thing for 5 years is bound to cause burnout eventually, even for devs as insanely stubborn as us! We'll still be putting out bug-fixing patches as needed though, and maybe a little something for the holidays as well, but no promises on that just yet. In any case, we're looking forward to showing off this new project of ours in the near(-ish) future, and we hope you'll be interested in checking it out! If not, then don't worry, we're sure DoF updates will be back before you know it! You can read more about this hiatus here.
