Springtrap is functioning! Kinda made me wanna pull my hair out a little bit with how my laptop wasnt functioning, but he's working! (Plus progress report)


sorry for this being long it just kinda happened

the intention was to make him like toy freddy but also in the opposite way; whereas toy freddy moved slowly and took a good amount of time to shake off, springtrap is far quicker and persistent, and yet way flimsier as he takes less hits than toy freddy before leaving.

With him finished, this leaves the new one and that surprise appearance character left to finish (+ technically the boss fight character since they're completely new though they aren't a part of the main gameplay). Thankfully, I already have the surprise character figured out, I even have half of their behavior programmed in already. Though, the new one, I still need to figure out.

Overall, things are going well so far. Still setting everything up, but I'm quite happy with how the game is shaping up so far. I've fiddled around with the gameplay, and while there are still things to be added, I feel like the loop is generally pretty fun. I'm gonna try my best to get good work done on this so that I can both release it soon, and have it not suck ass.

Halfway finished with the boss fight, so in the meantime I made this proper tutorial. Anything I could tweak, or are the mechanics simple enough to not require a tutorial?
