Ssssssoooooooo... whats up with 1.1?


Plain and simple, I only worked on it for half an hour and then never touched it again. I'm working on it again out of boredom but I will have to say that I can't promise 1.1 will release anytime soon, if at all. Right now I have a motivation spike to work on it so I'm getting more progress done but again I can't confirm that I'll finish 1.1.

While I'm proud of UNN2:J, UNN1:J not so much. I think the game is mediocre. Despite people enjoying it very much I just don't feel the same way myself. 1.1 was going to be made to not only make it something I'm proud of, but help it separate itself from other UNN1 mods if any come out in the future.

That's about it really. Alongside the loss of motivation I've also just been working hard on other projects and don't give time to UNN1:J. Won't keep this long but I will put down a list of what I may or may not do with UNN1:J 1.1.

  1. Remove hard mode, alongside Ribboron's Finale. Main thing. I don't like it, you don't like it.

  2. Possible extra challenges/modifiers to replace hard mode to compensate and keep the Ribboron's Finale name (maybe).

  3. Discord Rich Presense.

  4. Adding 5 original characters to the main roster to separate itself from the original UNN1 further as well as again any possible mods in the future.

  5. Balance changes, mostly nerfs (Yes, Ice Climbers & Bandana Waddle Dee are getting nerfed).

  6. Ribboron in the max mode. Similar to UNN2 she'll have multiple mechanics.

  7. Settings (maybe).

Could be forgetting things but these are the main things I wanna change/add to the 1.1 update. Sorry for not saying anything about it. I feel a little bad so I think it's fair to give an update post.

I know I said that I need to be productive again but I just started playing PVZ Fusion couple days ago and I'm hooked sorry guys.

I have programmed the first 24 characters and unleashed a beta build to my testers. Progress is going splendid so far.

Holy moly an actual game dev post 🤯. Seriously though me and my team are need of help in the modeling area of my next and only current project, Dandy's Nights!

2nd beta has been unleashed. This beta after a few days of testing will go out to the public as a public demo/beta thing to receive feedback. Also I need opinions on the balancing as we all know I am not the best at it so I'll need your help.
