Starling was born 3 years after the mysterious gas spreaded across the world. She was born to a middle-class family, they lived happily until 2018 which she was 4 at that time. She and her family and many others were sent to The Linebranch City Enclosure (where Project’s Promise takes place).

Many things changed, and as time went by her family started to care less about her. She was then sent to a school for girls to become the perfect housewives, this lead to Starling being forced to smile at anytime or any place...And as the years went by as well as her sanity of other emotions slowly faded, her family wanted to take her back for some unknown reason. As they going back to their home, a horrible car crash happened, killing her parents and siblings that were inside with her.

She remained as the soul survivor of that crash as a fire and explosion happened. She was then taken by the employees of the school she went to. That event caused her to start losing hope and faith in herself and others around her so she ran off. She didn’t stop until she entered the Murderlies Mansion and was cared for by Zara and the others.
