Status summary


After the first week of the Adventure Jam I want to make a small status summary of the development.

  • The first level (Destiny Island) is almost finished but I’ve started to add some extra details… I think it’s bad idea, too much time spent on this.

  • I have started the interior of the house, the scene design is finished now I need to add interactable objects.

  • The main menu is almost finished, minor retouches are necessary.

Next steps:

  • I want to have a playable build of the first level asap, this inlcudes Destiny Island and the interior of the house.

  • Add puzzles, music, sound effects, documents to read and general programming to the first level (the most tedious part).

  • Create the second level… I hope to have it at the beginning of next week.

  • Final retouches and test.

I don’t know if I will finish on time but I will try, and it’s possible that I will continue with the development after the jam… I will see.

More progress! Finished the sky with some lovely pink clouds! It seems that I have almost finished with the exterior, next step: the house interior, add interactive props, add puzzles, main menu… a lot of work!
