Status Update #10

What shall I show off this time? What big thing do I have to show off…sorry, I can’t think of anything…WAIT! MALE SPRITE!

Yep, a male sprite is now in the game. Until last month I didn’t have one, which was starting to create more and more problems for me.

This sprite is actually a placeholder made from the female sprite. The artist who has been helping me the most since I’ve restarted is taking a break until November, but luckily one of my other artists has returned. He made this and several other sprites.

Who is the other girl? You ask. It’s Mokoto Kototo from the old game, she’s the OC of the artist who returned. Since I can’t pay the sprite artists, I let 1 of their OCs be in the game and give them lots of thanks.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Heya! I wanted to show some gameplay progress i made so far. I hope you like it ^^

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Horror WIP A track that will be featured in a future horror game soundtrack! Stay tuned!
