I've been seeing a few cases of Piracy going around and thought I would talk about it.
People have been pirating games. I've seen it happen with THSC (The Henry Stickmin Collection), another game, and 1 other. But it happens A LOT with FNAF and its (paid-for) fangames. FNAF is by-far the most PIRATED GAME I've ever seen. I've come up with some reasons as to why you shouldn't pirate it.
If you pirate it, you don't support the developer
The developers put A TON of work into their games and then somebody comes along and pirates it. How do you think that makes the developer feel? Bad for sure! Playing the game doesn't mean you support the developer. Actually buying it and paying full price is supporting them.
Pirating is illegal.
Piracy is a crime. And several people commited it. While yes, its kinda a luke-warm crime (meaning not that bad), you're still breaking the law! Now, I don't know where you live. Here in the United States its illegal. Pirating can get you in legal trouble.
I know some people are gonna say things like the stuff I'm gonna list so I'm gonna address them here.
But I can't afford it!
That doesn't matter. You're still doing the 2 things I listed above and both of them are bad. You aren't supporting the developer, and piracy is illegal!
Well boo hoo I'm still gonna pirate ONaF 2 Mobile when that comes out!
Thats fine by me. You can pirate it all you want. I'm telling you its a bad idea, but you can still do it.
SHUT UP IDOT I CAN DO WHAT I WANT!
I'm aware. Like I said, you can pirate it all you want. I'm just telling you its a bad idea.
So basically, thats why you shouldn't pirate stuff! If you commit piracy, then please reconsider :)
