Valentine's Day—a man sat on the edge of a dock over a beautiful lake. With nobody, but himself. He had abandoned everything to "start a new life."
That's when a dark creature, its heart pulsing and glowing red, popped out of the shadows...
The Harbinger, the locals called it. Preyed upon men on Valentine's Day, especially the lonely kind.
The man didn't take any notice of it, thinking of it as one of the animals around.
That's when The Harbinger's paws reached the man and...
Poof. The man, and The Harbinger disappeared in a blink of an eye.
And just like that, nobody searched for the man. Not even his family, who forgot about him at this point. It's like he was erased off the face of the earth. Unborn.
