Previously…

As the bros were falling deeper to the facility both screamed and fell unconscious..

And now the continuation of chapter 3: “Trapped”

Mario wakes up and groans in pain and agony as he looks at Luigi who had to be luckier than Mario. He’s relieved he’s okay.

Mario: “Mama mia…that was some fall…nnh…o-ow..g-get a grip M-Mario…y-….you ca— nn— ..mm…m-maybe not…oww….” *Dizzy and injured he lies back down knowing he cannot get up on his own*

Luigi wakes up with less injuries besides some cuts and bruises. He looks around scared outta his mind. Then spots Mario who’s in dire shape and needs help.

Luigi: “Mario…Y-Your hurt…” *He said while holding back tears*

Mario: “N..ee..d…to….— *coughing out blood* oww….” *Groaning in dire pain and misery he’s in*

Luigi: “H-Hold onto me bro…” *He patches him up with spare bandages he had and carries Mario on his back like a toddler (lol)*

Mario: “Mmhm……so…much…pain…..” *mumbling to himself while hugging his brother*

Luigi: *Noticed and chuckled a bit* “Rest Mario…You’ve done enough for me…”

As Luigi carried Mario while finding a way out..something…or someone emerges from the darkness. Luigi looked around and sees the most horrifying thing he could even imagine. He fled as fast as he could while holding his dear brother, but something made Luigi fall causing to make him drop Mario.

Luigi: “EEP—“

Mario: “WAA— oof—!…nn…nnh…”

Luigi: “LET ME GO YOU FREAKS!!” *He demanded as his right arm made a cannon to scare them away and turned to normal*

Mario: “Lu…i..gi…” *He groaned while trying to stand*

Luigi: “Mario…here let me hold you. You can’t really stand up..” *He insisted giving him a worried look*

Mario: “mm…..” *He nod ok*

[20 minutes later]

Luigi took a break from walking for crazy long minutes while Mario is asleep on his shoulder. As Luigi looked at him he smiled a bit. Calm but also tired..as he was gonna go to sleep..something caught his attention. It was the same figure who made him like this..At first he wants to attack him then looked at his brother.

“???”: “heh…still mad?” *He mockingly laughs at Luigi as an insult*

Luigi: “Y…You again…the hell YOU want..?” *He angrily asked*

“???”: “hmph…nothing really just wanna see how pathetic you two are..struggling and fighting for your lives..it’s hilarious…really it is. Most people accepts their fate here. But you?.. You keep on pushing..I’m enjoying this..” *he replied in a menacing voice*

Luigi: “Most…people?” *he confusingly asked*

“???”: “Oh? I forgot to mention wayyy earlier..HEHAHA— uhh *AHEM!* yes most people like those mushroom heads and weird looking dinos..god they were a pain in the ass…” *in a confident and sour voice not even a hint of mercy*

Luigi: “…T-Those….were called…’Toads’ and ‘Yoshis’…d-di…did you…KILL THEM?” *Shocked and confused but mostly disgusted*

“???”: “So that’s what they are…interesting…thanks Luigi…You made this very…VERY interesting for me…” *He walks away leaving the duo alone*

Mario wakes up from Luigi talking but then looked confused. He noticed Luigi was crying.

Mario: “Luigi..? What happened bro?…” *In a concerned voice*

Luigi: “He killed them…He killed the Toads and Yoshis…” *shaken in fear and very upset*

Mario: “…” *He simply hugs Luigi*

Luigi: “…?” *He looks at Mario while tears running down his face*

Mario: “There’s nothing we can do about it brother…we must keep moving…” *said in a upset tone but somehow calm*

Luigi nodded. As they both walked they found a real exit. But they’re in a different area. They dont even know where they are. But alas, they press on more and more exit doors but they’re not getting anywhere. Mario frustratedly punched the wall. Luigi just…froze?…Like he’s looking at something.

Mario: “Lui—“ *Before he finished or reacted Luigi is gone?*

Mario: “Luigi?…LUIGI?! BRO?! C-COME OUT THIS ISN'T FUNNY!” *He screamed and screamed his name running even but no answer*

Mario is devastated…He sat by himself waiting and hoping he’s okay..but unknowingly leans on a secret passage on the wall.

Mario: “Huh-?! Oh..another passage…Maybe Luigi’s there?..” *He asked himself*

He took a deep breath and went in. He looked around and sees Luigi unconscious. In desperation he manages to get him out the room and passage before it closed again. He’s happy there’s no damages or injuries on Luigi.

Mario: *sighs* “Let’s-a-go brother…we need to get out of here…” *confident and determined to be freed from this nightmare. He carries Luigi and pressed onward*

BONUS! (Mario’s backstory of what happened)

[Mario’s POV: “It was a normal evening to be walking in the woods beautiful trees flowers etc, but a strange man in a lab coat was talking to me. At first I thought he was lost. I asked him if he was lost..he said yes but he made a house in the woods by himself…I must say…I was skeptical…but he wanted my help. So of course, ‘I’d be glad to help’ I said he took me to his house and told me to sit in a chair. I was confused but I did what he said..but…I felt tired. ‘Mama mia….I’m-a-tired..’ I said…he looked at me telling me to sleep. I didn’t caught the rest of what he said but I felt off…I woke up in a..tube?..A testing tube no less…I was scared…cold..he looked at me saying ‘You must be the famous “Mario” correct?’ I nodded my head ‘yes’ he also asked ‘And you must have a brother named “Luigi” correct?’ Again I nodded my head ‘yes’. He oddly let me out the tube and helped me stand up. He asked me a lot of questions and I answered them politely and positively..then I asked him ‘Your not gonna hurt my brother…are you?’ He said in a weird calm voice ‘of course not I’m just doing some test..’ Test?…I asked him politely of what test he need help with…he said ‘your the perfect one Mario…please sit..’ So, I did. But little did I knew..I sat down with my LIFE on the line. I couldn’t move it was so tight.. he said to me ‘listen Mario…I know this is scary…but I’ll give you a deal…if you corporate with me and my testing…I’ll free you…disobey well lets just say you won’t see Luigi again…okay? Sound like a deal..?’ he asked me in a serious tone…he released one of my arm and he held his hand out as a ‘deal’ I hesitated but…I don’t want my bro to be…hurt…so I accepted…I shook his hand…but then I said ‘deal..but please be nice to Luigi…he uhh can be jumpy and clumsy haha…but I’m serious when I say…don’t hurt him..or I’ll take you out myself..’ he agreed and went like ‘I promise Mario…you have my word.’ He wasn’t lying..but uhm…a-anyways a couple days passed maybe a week?…He ran a lot of test that backfired on him I kinda chuckled at him and he…laughed as well…? Painful but we chatted a little..but this time he was excited? He told me to sit in a chair and I did…he held my left arm and injected some kind of…drug or something in my blood…I felt strange…but he looked at me held my head up like a parent would do to their kid…I confusingly asked ‘what are you doing?’ He said ‘I found this injection…somewhere…it might work on you…stay still for me..’ I did what he said…but I felt…weird…like a killer…? I don’t remember…He put me in the testing tube so I didn’t pass out.. he said to me ‘you’ll feel kinda weird but trust me…it’ll work..rest for me okay?’ I tiredly nod ‘okay’.. Th…That’s all I remember hearing…]
