Previously…

As the bros were leaving the [𝐭𝐄𝐬𝐓𝐢𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐑𝐞𝐀] they were unaware of being watched…

And now the continuation of chapter 2: “the escape”

Mario and Luigi are walking down a hallway looking for any exits but no such luck, however Mario spots something out of place.

Mario: “Hey Luigi c’mere.” *demanding his brother to come over in a calm voice*

Luigi: “Yea bro? What you find?..” *He asked*

Mario: “Don’t you think this..wall is out of place?…” *He questioned in confusion and curiosity*

Luigi: “Hmm…yea it does…” *He answered*

Mario gently placed his hand on the suspicious looking wall and…it opened! A secret passage was revealed!

Luigi: “Hmm..I…I have a bad feeling about this bro…what if it’s a trap?…” *He questioned in almost a panic*

Mario: “Luigi…calm down..I’m here aren’t I?…let’s go in together…would that make you feel better?…” *He insisted in a calming voice*

Luigi: … … … *No answer but silently nod ‘yes’*

The bros enter the secret passage and explored the room..nothing out the ordinary just an empty room. Mario expected an exit or something else. Luigi doesn’t want to think of the dangers they’ll come across. So they leave, and went to find a exit.

Until…a scream was heard it was Luigi!

Mario: “LUIGI?!” *Said in a panic*

Luigi: “MARIOOOOO!!! HELP!! I CAN’T GET OUT!” *screaming in a frantic state*

Mario: “H-Hold on! I-I’ll try to open it again!” *Replied in a panic but determined*

Mario tried to open it again and again but no avail.

He was at a loss.. Till he noticed it was breakable. So he used all his strength and momentum to break it down.

Luigi: *Struggling to free himself but nothing his left arm was bleeding and his neck was gushing out blood making him choke on his own blood trying to call Mario’s name*

Mario: “Luigi…LUIGIIII!!” *tears starts to form in his eyes but some bit of rage as he frees his brother of whatever was strangling him*

Luigi falls to the floor but in the nick of time Mario caught him before he could get injured even more.

Mario: “Luigi?…Bro…? Speak to me!…I…c-can’t lose you…not like this…please…” *He hugged him close to him while bandaging the injuries on his arm and neck*

Luigi: *Shivering uncontrollably* “M…Ma…r…i..o…?” *Questioned in fear and shock*

Mario: [in mind: thank goodness he’s alive…] “I’m here brother…” *He lifts Luigi and carries him on his back since he couldn’t move his leg*

Luigi: “Ma…r…i…o…?” *Weakly questioned*

Mario: “Yes Luigi?…” *He respond*

Luigi: *coughing* “I…I wa..n…t…o-ou…—“ *interrupted by Mario*

Mario: “Bro…I know…we both want to leave…but we have to find an exit..okay? I promise…no matter what happens to us…we’ll find a way out…”

[2 hours had passed]

Mario: [in mind: an exit! Finally..!] *nudges Luigi a little to wake him up* “Wakey-wakey sleepyhead..heheh..” *Playfully smiles a little*

Luigi: “mm..? Wh..—? I-is that an exit?..” *He asked in a worried tone*

Mario: “I hope so..” *He replied while opening the door*

As Mario opened the door they both fell into a trap causing them to fall deeper and deeper into the facility.

Both of them screamed for dear life then everything went black.
