As the trio ventures off in the dark abyss they had only 1 goal in mind. To find an exit and go home..thus it’s impossible. But they have faith..

And now…the continuation of chapter 8: “Restless rest”

As the trio walked for nearly 5 whole hours..Bowser decides to carry both Mario and Luigi due of them getting sleepy and tired their legs even hurts. So both of them fallen asleep cradled in Bowser’s arms like children (lol)*

Bowser: [In mind: ‘heh..they deserve a nap…this whole walking NONSENSE is tiring em’ out…maybe we’ve walked in a loop..perhaps..? Gruh..my legs hurt..’] *Bowser sits down nearby a wall and lean his head* “Hopefully…we get out of here…” *He said to himself*

As Bowser let out an exhausting sigh, he looks down at the Mario bros. Mario sleeping peacefully, while Luigi is looking distressed and worried. Bowser nod his head and gently pats Luigi’s head letting out a calm exhale this time.

Bowser: [In mind: ‘He must been through a lot of hell than his brother has…or me…if this damn lab coat wearin’ figure come from nowhere I’m BURNING em alive…ticks me off…’] *He looks at Mario who’s strangely awake. He looks exhausted* “Your awake..?” *He asked confusingly*

Mario: *He yawned* “…Ughh…huh..? O-Oh h-hey Bowser…” *He said tiredly*

Bowser: *He shook his head and held Mario like a toddler (LOL)* “Go back to sleep short-stack…” *He said with a hint of annoyance*

Mario: “Mm…..sorry…I was…starving…and we tried looking for food…” *He said in a upset and tired voice*

Bowser: “Mm….let’s see what we can find…” *He said calmly but also a bit tired*

Bowser gets up and held both Luigi and Mario in his arms and continues walking to find something edible for Mario. He haven’t found anything good..till he spotted a…plate of uneaten or frozen spaghetti?…He wondered to himself ‘how the hell spaghetti off all things got here?’ Mario looked at Bowser starving to death..Bowser returned his gaze.

Bowser: “there’s a plate of your favorite food Mario…” *He said to Mario tired but awake*

Mario: “Oh?— What kind of monster would throw it away!? That’s a waste!…” *He exclaimed angrily*

Bowser: *He sets Mario down* “Yk what to do..I’ve taught you it.” *He said confidently*

Mario: “Oh! Oh yeah…! *He proceeded to copy what Bowser taught him and warmed up the food like it’s brand new* Yippee! I’m gonna do this for now on can save a ton of stuff in a kitchen haha!” *He laughed a bit while grabbing the plate*

Bowser: *He smirked a bit then nod his head* “Don’t try to burn your house down..” *He giggled*

Mario: *He chuckled a little* “O-Oh my that would be a problem..hehe!”

Bowser: “Cmon…let’s head back..” *He demanded*

Mario: “Okie-Dokie!” *He cheerfully exclaimed*

As Bowser carried Luigi and Mario walked they both sat down. Mario starts eating while Luigi is still asleep and Bowser looking at Mario.

Bowser: “Mario…?” *He asked*

Mario: “Mm..?” *He looked at Bowser*

Bowser: “Uhh…I know your eating right now..but I wanted to ask…Do you remember what happened to you?…You don’t gotta answer. I’m just curious.” *He questioned him*

Mario: *He swallows the food and looked scared* “I…uh…uhm….well I tried to tell Luigi…I don’t know how’d you react…” *He answers*

Bowser: “It’s fine…like I said I was just curious or ya don’t need to answer.” *He said calmly*

Mario: *He sighs looking sad* “I…I…..I wanna tell you…” *He upsettingly*

Bowser: “Mm..?” *He lifted an eyebrow confused*

Mario inhales then calms himself. He then proceeds to tell Bowser what he remembers. Though he doesn’t remember everything. Bowser looked stunned and bamboozled by Mario. He then noticed Mario was sobbing and shivering. Bowser stops him from talking and held him like a child telling him to calm down.

Mario: “nnhm…” *hic!* *He got the hiccups and tiny bit of flame exits his mouth and proceed to cover it*

Bowser: *He laughed* “You ate too fast.” *He said still giggling*

Mario: *He giggled a little bit* “I…I guess I did…”

Bowser: “Anyways…rest up…it’s been more than 5 hours…”

Mario: “Mm…okay… *he yawned* o-oof…tired…..night….night….” *He said tiredly as he drifts to sleep*

Bowser closed his eyes holding the two brothers near him like children and falls asleep afterwards…They were too tired to press onward. They deserved a nap from all this nonsense they’ve gone through. And once they awaken again they’ll finally get out this hellhole.
