(I’m going with the theory that FNAF world taking inside of crying child’s head is cannon)
Younger brothers who are forced to endure Through traumatic events inside of their head based on their real world perceptions (headspace being based on faraway town and Crying child thinking the animatronics were scary)
both are dead
they also have a more friendly and childlike Environment inside of their head (headspace and FNAF world) where they fight enemies and try to progress to the next area. Inside these spaces, they also take a black and white monochrome appearance (Omori and adventure crying child)
most of the parts where you see them in the game are when their inside their houses, but sometimes go outside to go places
Both of the games take place in either cheery neighbourhood overworlds or dark scary dreams, also set in the early 90’s
they both have a father who is most likely relevant to the lore,But you rarely see them inside of their respective games (Ik William is seen a lot just in FNAF 4)
their Siblings are Sometimes Rude to them (Mari and Michael,With mari getting annoyed at Sunny during recitals and Michael terrorising him) but they have both been showed to love them
they get hunted down by Black ghost like figures (Something and Nightmare) Teleproting them around with their design Relating to what their trauma is (Something is based on Maris Hair when she was hanging, and nightmare is supposed to be What the crying child thought of the fredbear animatronics, with the mouth being a reminder of how he died)
Both of their games end with their best friend (basil and fredbear plush) ,Telling him It’s gonna be ok,alongside sunny and crying child’s other friends. (Kel,Aubrey and hero + the other Animatronic plushies)
Contrasts
Sunny Killed his sister ,while Crying child got killed by his brother
Debate potential
Unless you use FNAF world, crying child is getting curbstomped
