Swilcrad v1.4

I thought I was done with development on this game, but I always end up coming back to it when I’m bored and adding/tweaking more things. This update was small enough that it didn’t really require an article, but I’m doing one anyway.

  • Added a couple more interactive objects throughout the game

  • Fixed some bugs with invisible walls

  • Tweaked the dialogue for various interactive objects, and completely rewrote some of the dialogue for the game endings and exposition

  • Added more up-to-date screenshots on the game page, as well as a shiny new header and game thumbnail

In the past when I’ve released updates, I would always assume it would be the final one. I would go off to do other things and forget Swilcrad existed (not really though, I check the game page somewhat frequently). But this time, I’m going to pick development back up and carry the game a little bit further (in what will probably be the actual final update).

Keep searching for the secret ending!

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)
