I want to tell you about this childhood show called Teletubbies. It was about these cartoony teletubby mascots laughing around and like to dance and sing. But one episode was different. Very different.
April 21st, 2010:
I was watching an episode of Pinky and the brain, when a package slipped through my mail slot. Inside was a DVD with a poorly-drawn Dipsy on the front. Curious, I inserted it in my DVD Player and the selection screen popped up. I swear I saw the Dipsy illustration blank, but I convinced myself that I was seeing things. The DVD had one episode, and it was called: “The Murders”. I clicked the episode and it started.
The episode opened with the teletubbies singing and dancing. Suddenly, a series of disturbing images flashed on screen including a dead rabbit, a mutilated Tinky Winky, a cat and a dog with their eyes gouged out, and a man with burn marks on him.
The episode cut to Dipsy the green teletubby removing his own head, revealing the actor inside the costume. Dipsy's actor proceeded to bash Po the red teletubby in the head with a sledgehammer, blood splattering all over the set. Soon, Po was dead.
Dipsy's actor then killed both Tinky Winky and Laa Laa with an axe, before getting into the teletubby car.
The scene cut to a grassy meadow with children flying their kites. All of a sudden, the man drove pass them and cried out that he just killed the teletubbies. “What the fuck?” I said to myself. The man's appearance began to change. His skin turned pale, his eyes turned red, and his teeth grew sharper. His voice changed to a deep one.
The screen cut to static for 5 seconds and cut to a woman crying. The Dipsy actor came over and said, “Now the show can go on forever...” before slicing her with a hatchet. Before it ended, it showed text in white lettering that said, “You’re a part of the show.” The episode then ended.
Now, if you see this episode, stay the hell away from it.
