Hello all!

I believe many of you found my game through Gamejolt’s front page!
I’m very honored to have my game as the site’s banner.
I can hardly believe it. Thanks so much to the awesome creators of the site. Thank you!

This game is actively being developed as I type this. I’m working on it as much as I can, along with one small side project that acts as nothing more than a distraction.

So welcome to Banned Memories. The demo was originally released almost 3 (!) years ago as of now. It’s been in development for a very long time now, but I try to keep you all updated as much as I can.

The game’s development started in 2012 and was called Concealed back then. I eventually decided to drop the game, but in 2014, I decided to work on it again. I changed its aesthetic completely though. It was originally going to be an homage to survival horror games from the PS2 era rather than the original one. I honestly don’t even remember what I used as a source of inspiration back then.

The game will be controlled using both classic tank controls as well as “modern” 3D controls. The Japanese setting is basically a thank you! to all the awesome Japanese horror games that we’ve had over the last 20 years.

So, long story short: thank you very much for checking out my game. Feel free to add me to your friendslist so we can talk and I hope you will enjoy the demo. Stay tuned for more future updates!

Hi everyone.

I have been working very hard on improving the game's environments, textures, models, animations, music and so much more to create the authentic horror experience I have always wanted to make.

Regarding the last update; I decided to bring the project back to life. I was really burned out after losing most of the game after working on it for nearly a decade, but here we are. It runs a lot better and it's definitely coming along very nicely.

Hello everyone!

It has been a long time since the last update, but there is some good news on the way.

I have finished almost all rooms in the entire game. The story is set and the graphics are getting their final touches.

Hey everyone. Another quick update regarding the future of the project. After having dealt with serious memory leaks that causes RAM usage to skyrocket, I spent the past few months fixing just that. The game runs perfectly now and it's coming soon!

Hi everyone, In this small update I wanted to showcase some features that are present within the game.

The game will feature full controller support as well as rebindable keys for both keyboard and gamepad.
