Now that everything’s settled down, I want to thank the people in the credits, and share each of their contributions to making the game special. Please, ask questions if you have any! Next up:

Gin sourced and filmed most of the actors in A Case of Distrust. With her connections to Toronto’s theatre and improv scenes, she scavenged the ideal person for each role. But, much like Mark, her contributions went far beyond my initial ask.
When I started making this game, Gin had just finished writing, producing, and starring in her own play at the Toronto Fringe Festival. After I’d decided on a concrete story, I turned to her for writing advice. She loved the outline and wanted to be involved — so once I knew the game needed actors, she was excited to help.
I would send Gin a character’s backstory, a few emotions I thought would fit their personality, and some lines of script. She’d think of the perfect friend — typically a rising star in her circles — and spend an entire evening costuming, directing, and filming each role. She even spent a night rolling on the ground, filming the lovely but uncooperative cat Lady.
Without her time, energy, skill, and enthusiasm, A Case of Distrust would be a shadow of its current self. She gave a lot to this project, and it shows.
Gin, thank you!
