i should start off with explaining what demo 4 will contain

demo 4 will be wave 2 of demo 3.5, it will bring new additions to the demo 3.5 levels, such as new badniks, gimmicks and maybe even new bosses, and will also include the rest of the levels (vulcan factory 2, seatide beach 2 and 3, and icicle tundra)

your probably wondering about the new ones, rustkeep ruin (previously called polluted medieval) and bygone caverns (previously called forgotten caverns). well, they will actually be in demo 4.5, as some sort of wave 3. which means that this will be a triple whammy, i guess.

after demo 4.5? there will be a demo 5 that will contain the sixth zone, as well as a demo 6 that will contain the seventh zone. after that will follow the full release of the addon. 1.0 you could say.

one last thing,

you know how i'd never bothered to make new special stages, so they were just the vanilla special stages? well, i'm actually adding actual special stages! complete with it's own gameplay style! but i won't reveal much. i want to keep the surprise until demo 4.
