Technically, two, I forgot to upload 3.0, so this is 3.1.
In 3.0:
Reorganized the minigame selector;
Fixed Sweeper after some bugs;
Added two minigames:
Beachball: As Pato Corajoso (Courageous Duck), play with a beachball, don't let it fall on the ground, or you lose! However, you must also avoid falling spikes that will kill you! You can use the beachball to protect yourself from them and also redirect them somewhere else. How does that scientifically work? It doesn't.
Meltdown: As Pato Sorvete (Ice Cream Duck), protect yourself from sunlight by avoiding it, you have 250 health, each milisecond you stay in sunlight, you lose health, if you have 0 health, you'll melt! However, there are small hideouts (floating ceilings) which you can hide under to not melt.
In 3.1:
Fixed issues found in Beachball and Sweeper;
Added sounds and OST.
And so, The Duck Game comes to a close.
I really enjoyed my time making it, a more laidback game, compared to my larger-scale games like The People and Let The Villain Save The World. It went nearly perfect, the one issue is the beachball in Beachball (!), originally, you were supposed to lose after you drop it three times, but a bug made you lose in one drop, so I decided to embrace the bug as a feature, plus, it would be too hard to LOSE, like three drops! Other than that, very good.
I'm proud to say that The Duck Game is the first game I in fact actually completed: The People, Game I and Throw-A-Thing have expansions coming soon, WATERY is a prototype and Let The Villain Save The World will have a feedback fix update. Technically, The Duck Game IS the simplest game I made, but I really like many things about it, the minigames, I think they're a good twist at those simplistic "collect stuff falling from the sky" games, with a bit of creativity. I specially love the art, I turned out... Better than I expected.
Honestly, this game is WAY bigger than its supposed to be. It was JUST supposed to be the Bread By mini-game for a coding class, I literally just made it to spite my teacher because she challenged me to make it in Construct 3, since I had said Construct is just better than the other, simpler... one they were using. Truth is, I finished 20 minutes before them. So take that.
Also, fun fact. The Duck Game's characters are little characters I made back in 2020. I left them behind for a while, but decided they deserved this small comeback.
Will it get updates? Unlikely. Maybe I do something like higher or lower spawn rates according to score...
I think that's everything. I guess. Thanks for reading and playing The Duck Game!
