Okay. What was that?

No, you didn't miss the sudden leaking of the script or the first build of the game as it usually happens, that's not what I mean. What kind of year was it?

At the point of planning this post, my friend Ksan suggested this one should start with these words... ahem...

“[$!?!] THIS YEAR!!”,

because this phrase sums up my impressions from this year. And I would be going for colorful about what it had brought me if student life hadn't been a drag, as would general fatigue. But more about that later.

So, unfortunately, this post will be shorter than the usual New Year's posts, but I still wish you an enjoyable read.

✨ How the year has passed for me ✨

Let's get it over with at once. It was a disaster. There were some pleasant moments, but never before have I felt more exhausted and tired than during this period. But you've heard that many times before, so let's talk about something else.

I finished school this summer. It was a surprise to realise that the term of eleven years was over. That now autumn would come and you wouldn't see any of the faces you knew... It’s just… so strange? However, the next thought was, “HOW WOULD I PASS THOSE EXAMS?!”. Both final and entrance exams.

In the end, the suffering was successful and I was able to get where I wanted to go. Impressions about the place and groupmates are good, but for now, instead of the creative process (which is in the name of my specialty) I'm engaged in cramming and passing the academics. Because of this there’s no time for anything unrelated to the university. But I do try to get out of it when I can.

✨ What’s up with the game ✨

As it follows from the previous one, there's nothing new in the game so far. There are a couple of things I've managed to do since the anniversary, but it's too early to show them yet. The only thing I will mention is that all the materials for TARDIS room are done, which includes text and graphics. Only the sounds and gameplay remain a question, because Sanja and I are debating whether to turn the console into an entire mini-game in the spirit of controlling the real TARDIS (within the series).

Actually, I wanted to get you a bigger gift than just art for this post, but then again, credits and blah-blah-blah. So, as now the Whovians have had a pretty quiet Christmas with no rush, DT is getting the same.

But. I’ll try within January, as far as exams will allow, to finish the present and give it to you, because as they say: “It is better to give a present later than not to give one at all”. But maybe that's just the way I say.

I won't make any lofty wishes, so... I'll just say that I'll try to do as much for you and DT as I can so I don't have to leave you here alone for a long time.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all! I wish that 2023 goes better for you all than this year and that nothing falls out of the sky on us. One would hope so....
