Grogu, also known as "The Child" or "Baby Yoda," is a Force-sensitive being who was raised at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. He is of the same mysterious species as Jedi Master Yoda. Grogu survived the Great Jedi Purge (Order 66), where he was hidden away and forced to suppress his Force abilities to survive. He was later found by Din Djarin, a Mandalorian bounty hunter, who became his adoptive father and protector.
