As you may have noticed, I decided to change Toy Corrupted Tails' name to "Prototype Tails". This is personally due to lore reasons, and besides it doesn't really affect gameplay.

Also, if you paused and read Nightmare Salvage Sonic's bio, you're probably wondering how the toy animatronics can coexist with the Toy Lock animatronics. To answer this, I'll basically sum up the timeline to that point :

• Bite of '91

• SHPP restaurant is opened in 1993

• It quickly gets closed down

• The events of FNaS 1 happen in 2015

• SHPP decide to make slightly renovated versions of the Toy Lock animatronics in 2016 (this is also when the soddles were made)

• That place shuts down too because of paranormal activity

• In 2017, SHPP decides to make safer versions of the Toy Lock animatronics, the regular toys.

• That location shuts down too because of Amy, the nightguard, going missing. All of the clones are moved to a storage unit.

• In 2025, one night Eggman breaks in, locking Sonic in the parts and services room and killing Tails, Mario and Yoshi.

• Sonic is attacked by Withered Toy Sonic, heavily injuring him. He is able to break down the door, and kills Eggman as revenge for killing his friends.

• Eggman's soul, instead of being transferred to '27 Golden Sonic, is transferred to a spare Golden Sonic suit left in one of the rooms of his own storage unit, being Sonic's Museum Palace's storage unit.

• Sonic, now Salvage Sonic, escapes the SHPP storage unit, deciding to take shelter inside of the SMP storage unit.

• After the location explodes, he is left barely alive, but by luck finds the phantom ruby which had just crashed down from the sky.

• He grabs it, and he absorbs a small amount of it's power. While this doesn't make his wounds disappear, it heals him.

• He decides to try and track down Luigi, and so using the phantom ruby he travels across the timelines to find helpers, leading up to NR 1.
