The fact my parents gave life to my little brother that has autism yet they’re still clueless and think that the only way you can have a disability is for you to be dumb and have bad grades is honestly mind boggling in my opinion.


I cried in math class cause I got overwhelmed since my mind focused on everything happening in the classroom, it was so loud I actually cried and had to go to the councilor’s office for a bit to calm down. I’ve thought I had ADHD for a long time but I never told my parents since I know my parents would just try to deny it even if I give them multiple reasons. I finally told my mom today and told her everything I know and she legit changed the topic to politics. She then told me “Oh! You just have a phone addiction and your and introvert! But you’re smart! You’re not like your brother.” To which I told her I’m pretty sure I have the inattentive type of ADHD and how to struggle more with focus, remembering things, and organization. To which she told me to stop watching videos about ADHD and blamed me having a phone addiction again. I swear my mom says she will listen to anything I say and will be there for me and ACTUALLY listen but she always down plays things and blames everything on my damn phone. She blamed me thinking I have ADHD on fucking politics and what’s happening in the US, saying “Oh you think that cause you’re scared!” I literally said nothing about politics so I don’t know what the fuck my mom is on.
