I am looking forward to continue its development, although, to be frank, it hasn't been going as smooth as I imagined it would go in the previous post.
So, 3 months have gone by and the 1.3 update isn't close to being finished. I'd say it is done in 40-50% in terms of what I planned for it content-wise. The most complete part is probably the music , it's been really fun creating these ear-rupturing tunes (fnf flp swaps are hell of a gateway drug). So far I've made assets for half of the songs (minus the backgrounds) and none of them are really coded in, meaning there is still a lot of work to do.
Nope, the update is not coming this year.
Although I could reasonably rush it during the coming winter break, it would turn out, reasonably, rushed. Tender Update was already rushed just to meet its arbitrary deadline. I am not making the same mistake with this, more ambitious one.
I realised I am not build for making huge releases (cumulating all the content I've made for a while) due to being prone to simply burning-out. I don't want this to feel like a job (id die of hungry if it was 
) and the recent months have not been the best for me, so I'm sorry if there was someone (there wasnt) waiting for more Poot Battles in 2024. I don't want to make another empty promise, so expect it to release when it's ready to release

i have a plan to post some teasers in the meantime so stay tuned if you want to see them
i can already say that the update is shaping up to be more like the og pboh than the tender update, with more focus being placed on various, disconnected scenerios than one story (but there certainly is a story)
and yeah, lets not forget the shitpost bullshit, there is more of the shitpost bullshit
