The First Entry!

Hooray! After several weeks of pouring over my computer, and wandering my internal create-o-sphere, “Japira’s Journey” is now ready to leap into its Official Game Dev Log!

(This may seem like a small feat, but if you saw how many ideas were strewn about the floor of my create-o-sphere, you’d hug me in congratulatory-ness.)

Current Forecast: I have character designs for all 6 protagonists, the map areas, and the overall story idea.

Scheduled Forecast: Tilesets created to Areas 0, 1 and 2, with protagonists for each area fully drawn out.

Dev Log: Updates twice a month, starting on March 30th.

Thanks for Reading!

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Demonstration of the spells and their effects :)!

If you have more of an acquired taste, the restaurants in Niravasi have you covered! Maybe skip the salad bar, though.

brung back my old oc plus a new one

...they don`t have names yet tho

Path of Kami, running around the shrine area

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

Double Rainbow!!!
