There is 3 different timelines to FNaJOF, yes 3. I'm gonna talk about them. But first, what are the timelines? We have: The Original Timeline, The SomethingRabbit Timeline, and The Blackbear Retcon/Timeline.

The Original Timeline:

This timeline consist of the original FNaJOF and FNaJOF 2021, I never focused on the story of the games. In fact, I don't remember which FNaF games are canon.

The SomethingRabbit Timeline:

This timeline was originally called The Reimagined Timeline. This was before @SPLStudiosOfficial had control over the series. This timeline consist of FNaJOF R and the cancelled game, FNaJOF 3: The Horror Show. Only the first 2 FNaF games, and a bit of FNaF 3, are canon. I focused on the story a whole lot, I even made documents on the story, will I reveal them? Maybe, why maybe? Because SPL had almost COMPLETELY retconned everything we use to know.

The Blackbear Retcon/Timeline:

FNaJOF R is still canon, but the timeline is very different. For one, FNaF 1 to UCN is canon. Horror Show has also been retconned and will be replaced with FNAJoF: Recall.
