i'm not having fun.
Ok, so instead of doing the whole "questions nobody asked" thing, instead i'll go into more detail on why I made the original Outcast Abyss (Sanctum) and why I decided to bring it back.
How did it all begin?
Sanctum had A LOT of early ideas, one of the first ones I remember was a psychopathic serial killer dressed up like a kids mascot (now you gotta understand that I was fucking 14 at the time so ideas were crazy as shit), I obviously ended up scrapping that idea, I then settled on weird alien demon things.
Sanctum was going to be like PUSH, only with some differences, not by a lot tho (You can clearly tell in the old version that it was inspired by PUSH, sorry squeaks, you prolly won't forgive me lmao).
The other chapters were as follows:
The Fun Fair
The Catacombs
The End
Idk what the hell I was planning for this game.
Why did you cancel it?
I cancelled it realizing that I cannot solo dev anything (Minus Greenman), as game development takes time and skill, I also didn't like how the game was turning out in the first place.
Why revive it?
I honestly don't know, maybe I wanted to give the game another shot or I wanted to try out some new things.
As of right now, the game only has a menu frame, and even then the game still has minimal progress with the only modeller going dormant and concepts not being finalized, but due to everything going on rn I have become extremely paranoid of friend requests.
Until everything has died off this game and many others will be in a hiatus, however for some other games I already got all the important stuff out of the way, all I need to do is work on the games and only the games.
The last post will be upon us soon, can you guess what game it's for?
