The Game is being ported to Gamemaker


I'm making this devlog to let you guys know that no, we are not quitting this project.

We've been silent for quite some time now so I felt like I had to tell something.

We are working on porting the game from Scratch to Gamemaker

The main reason is that Scratch is way too limiting, with the game having to be smaller than 5MB and the fact that, with ACT 2, some of the music wouldn't load proparly to some users, we decided that it would be better to switch engine.

Another reason is that many of the stuff I wanted to add in the game was scrapped due to the game's size, so with Gamemaker, which allows us to make a better, bigger game, we will also implement all the stuff that didn't make it to the final game.

But don't worry, while I am working on the port, the team is still working on ACT 3 with concepts, music and sprites.

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
