Sup yall! FBOA is here. Welcome to first devlog of my game! Today i'll show and tell you about the scrapped content of Eight Nights With Appley's and Four Nights At Appley's/Apply Madlee. Let's get started!
ENWA:
Old version of the loading screen before game starts.
The game was planned to have a loading menu before the game started. But it will be replaced by a walking Appley Maddley in pixel style. Also «Blue Creations» studio will later be renamed «Ice Crafts».
Appley's rejected design.
It was rejected because it looks ugly to me. It will be redesigned for release.
Apple Juice mode (hard mode)
Apple Juice mode was supposed to unlock after completing Night 8. It's essentially a mashup of enemies from previous nights but they're faster. Hard mode will be replaced by «List of challenges».
Flamingo
Flamingo appeared in the FNAA era. She looks like a flamingo but with a sad mask. Her behavior was reminiscent of Foxy from Five Nights at Freddy's. Unfortunately, she was rejected due to the difficulty of drawing her design. She will be replaced to chameleon in the release.
Box Man
Box Man like the Flamingo appeared during the development of FNAA. His behavior was as follows: if he comes into the office, you must keep your tablet up until he leaves. Otherwise, he'll jumpscare you. His behavior will be transferred to another character.
FNAA:
Shotgun. Instead of turning on lasers, you were supposed to be given a shotgun. You could literally shoot an enemy and kill them before the night was over. But it was rejected due to the oversimplification of gameplay.
Cooling and overheating. Unlike the shotgun, this feature simply stops enemies for a while. It was rejected for the same reason as the shotgun.
Fluff. This character would have been indistinguishable from the behavior of the Cone Dude which is why he was removed. But he appeared in Three night at Henry and his name was changed to Пушинка (Pushinka).
Nick. Nick is just a Grunkfuss but with green skin and a pear-shaped body. He was replaced by a Zhakar The Clown (that's the legless green clown).
