The Game's Current State


Howdy! You're about to read an article regarding about the game's current state. It also opens application forms yet again. If you are or were willing to help the team, please read this very carefully.


Inactivity on the Team

Our team has been... very inactive in the last couple of days, and some of them were also leaving due to the interest in Undertale they've lost. I wouldn't want to be sure if this would be the end of the development, since this game is my biggest dream to make.

Searching for Engines

I wouldn't want to talk about this considering how this issue hurt my reputation, but this falls into the current state category.

While most of the private ones are the best, there are also public ones which don't really pass to the best category. We've been trying to search for a different engine to develop the game on, but the choices are very limited.

Some of them are very nicely made (most of them are pretty bad), but the functions are confusing in the coding style. (TML's engine, in an example) Some of them are very well made without any odds, but they're all private.

Therefore, I've been very confused which one to start with.

Conclusion

In a conclusion, I don't really know whether to cancel the game or not. It's a pretty hard decision. Though, if you could give us a helping hand to this project, I'd appreciate it a lot!
