The history of this project: why it is similar to what it was not originally.

The very first prototype was of a completely different format. It was about 6 years ago. At that time, I was very interested in game programming. I liked to try myself in different genres and see what I could do and if I could at all.

And then I created a simulator of the creation of the earth. Rather, a small area on which you can place various blocks. By combining blocks with others, it was possible to obtain various tools for the variety of the world. So, for example, by putting a block of mud next to a block of water, we got grass on the ground, watering which a tree grew. Having created a small forest, it became possible to create animals, and then people who lived their lives, built houses, mined and so on. My sister really liked it (after all, I did it for her).

(there are no screenshots of that game)

After a while, I lost my hard drive with all the developments. And, about 4 years ago, I decided to make that game again, but better and with improved graphics. And here we come to the point. After drawing a lot of things and adding the ability to create a world, I thought, "Hey, why don't I try to create a sandbox with crafting?" And, in fact, here we are. From the god simulator, I came to a minimalistic sandbox game that I'm trying not to abandon.

and what we have now

I didn't try to create a fake copy and profit from it. These are just desires to try myself in a new format, which has grown into something more than just a project for the evening.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Cyberpunk-like boss fight music.

I experimented with synthesizers, and it turned out to be a pretty cool sound. And no matter how much I try, the music I create still sounds like an OST to the game :D

I'm still alive, just working on something real big.

Yup, i don't know what "video/sound quality" is.

Nope, it's not Skyrim 6.

Yes, all of this except for sprites was created by me.

New buid is here! Added pyramid generation, alchemy table, ingredients, new enemies and armor. Fixed bugs with chests and pause menu.

(perhaps I forgot to mention something else)

What if at the time of Atari there would have been a dynamic and brutal game with the current idea of the shooter genre? Then it would have the same brutal track, even in 8 bits. I turned this idea into reality!

Creating a dubstep drop (for the first time). Sounds not bad, huh? Check the game with this bomb!
