Monday, October 31, 2016:

It’s the greatest day of all time! Halloween! I walked home that day knowing trick or treating would be a blast! “Well, well, well, if it isn’t Eddie Natch, I’ve been waiting for you.” My brother Jayden said. “Come on, Jayden Natch, your killer costume won’t beat the White Mask Man!” I replied, we joked around until it was time to go trick or treating, Jayden’s going to an old house for a party, and I’m going to walk around the neighborhood! I walked through the kids laughing and having a good time until I saw a clown staring at me, I walked closer and it disappeared. Probably a hallucination, I haven’t been taking my medicine lately, so I didn’t think much of it. After hours of trick or treating, it started to get dark, and I headed home to wait for my brother, but after a while, nothing happened. It felt like forever waiting for my brother, so I grabbed a flashlight and searched through the street leading through the forest until I found the house.

I entered the house to see it pitch black inside, luckily I had a flashlight with me. I turned it on to see old, destroyed rooms with a black-ish brown wallpaper with stains everywhere. I kept searching through until I saw something in the corner, a shadow, it looked like a clown. My hallucinations have been getting worse. But I have to find Jayden. “Jayden!” I yelled, hoping for a response, but nothing. I kept searching until I found a room filled with spiders and ants and cockroaches. It moved towards each other like it was a warzone, then, one by one, they formed into a clown rising from the ground. It had a yellow and red suit with red, puffy shoes, and a pale white face with sharp teeth and claws. It grinned, and it lunged at me. I ran for my life knowing that whatever that thing was, it wanted me dead. I kept running through the halls that took an eternity to find a door, I ran through to escape, and I instantly shut the door. I ran through the trees and branches to see my neighborhood. I ran back home and slammed the door shut and locked it. “EDDIE NATCH! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN THIS LATE?” My mom yelled, “I was looking for Jayden and I saw someth-” 

“You haven’t been taking your medicine, have you!?”

“N-no I saw it, and it chased me, it was a clown-”

“NO EXCUSES! GO TO BED!”

I headed to bed, in fear that whatever that clown was, it took Jayden and potentially killed him. I have to get him back.

Tuesday, November 1st, 2016:

“So, why are we here again?” Kyle asked me.

“Jayden got taken by a demon clown and we have to save him!”

“What?”

I explained everything and led him in the house. We searched around until I turned back at him to see him forming into something different, he got puffy shoes, a yellow and red suit, a pale white face and his nails became insanely sharp. It was him, the demon, whatever it is, it’s definitely hungry.

It giggled with a goofy voice, like a clown's voice. It opened its mouth, revealing insanely sharp teeth and a very sharp, long tongue. It lunged at me. I ran for my life through the staircase that felt like it was infinite, it had old, creaking floorboards that I had to run past. I kept running for my life until I hit a dead end. The clown laughed.

“Who are you?” I asked.

“Call me Adam.” It said with a deep, creepy voice.

It walked up to me, closer and closer by the second until it stepped on a cracked part of the floor. The floor was completely destroyed when he stepped on it.  He fell down to the first floor. 

I jumped through the destroyed part of the floor while I heard Kyle screaming in a room nearby me. I ran for it to get to him. I barged open the door to see Kyle, dead, with blood all over his stomach which was cut open. I nearly vomited from the sight. I heard a scream from the other room, so I ran towards it until I entered the room. Jayden was tied up on a chair with a door banging. I looked around and grabbed a knife, I untied him and we escaped until I fell through the floor from a cracked floorboard.

I was badly injured, but I managed to escape. Suddenly, I smelt smoke, and I saw a massive fire bursting. I crawled my way out and screamed. Jayden was in the house, and the fire spread fast. I got up and ran out of the forest while the sun was setting. After a while of running, I saw a purple light come in and disappear.

I ran back home, luckily, my parents were asleep.

I got into bed and cried, is Jayden okay? Is he alive? Is he dead?

Wednesday, November 2nd, 2016:

I woke up that day and headed to school while wondering what happened yesterday. I couldn’t think straight, Kyle wasn’t in class, he was probably…

I couldn’t think straight when something killed my friend.

After school, I headed to the forest to see the house, but not damaged, it looked the same as before. I walked in, looking for Jayden like the last 2 times. After a few minutes, I heard a growl behind me. I instantly turned around to see Adam standing there with his terrifying black eyes and clown suit. He lunged at me as I ran outside of the house. I have to do something else to find out more about Adam. I searched around the house but not inside, that was until I heard banging on a trapdoor outside the house.

I snuck through the trapdoor to find an old room with blood covering the walls. I saw an old door leading to another room. Inside that room was a bloody hatchet with a dead body laying next to it. I screamed, and realized Adam might’ve heard me. I hid under an old table and watched as he broke through the trapdoor and searched for me. I ran towards the trapdoor and escaped after I locked the trapdoor with an old key on the door. I heard Adam growl until it stopped. I ran back to the house and closed the door shut. I grabbed chairs and other heavy objects to make it nearly impossible to break through. I searched through the first and second floor, to look for Jayden, and to explore. I noticed an old kitchen with cracked plates with blood and old knives. I grabbed one in case Adam came back.

I searched through the second floor to see the same hallway with the destroyed floor. I walked away from it, knowing nothing was on the other side. I walked through the endless halls until I heard banging outside, it had to be Adam.

I tried to find an exit, but Adam was here too early. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. I tried to see where I could hide until I found an old closet, so I instantly hid in it. Adam broke into the room. I saw him lurking through until I heard him getting closer and closer until a sound of something breaking came through. He rushed towards the area, and I got out of the closet and ran back outside of the house. I ran towards my house and immediately came in to look for mom and dad. I searched but nobody was here. I felt like something was laughing as soon as I saw my parents missing. I didn’t know what to do at that point, but after feeling hopeless, I knew what to do.

I grabbed my baseball bat and camera. I memorized my plan:

Return to the house, baseball bat and camera in hand. Search for Adam and attack, save Jayden, mom and dad.

So I waited for morning to come.

After morning came, I had my bat and camera, but I also decided to bring a lighter. I went through the forest to enter the house one last time in search of Jayden while recording everything. I looked through the old rooms to see Adam in the kitchen. I ran towards him and swung my bat, but it was destroyed from Adam just staring at it. He grabbed me by the neck and said “I won’t kill you. I’ll just torture you until you can’t handle the pain.” He threw me across the room and I fell to the ground. Suddenly, Adam grabbed Jayden from thin air and dropped him. Jayden looked shocked and didn’t know what to do, so he ran outside. I tried to yell, but I couldn’t speak. Adam eventually let go and disappeared. I tried to go outside, but the door was locked. I went upstairs to see if I could find anything. I walked through the endless halls to finally find a new room. It had a VCR and a VHS tape with the name “LOST” I inserted the tape to see a random camera recording of somebody searching through the halls looking for something until Adam chased him. He was running through the halls until he tripped and Adam killed him. Adam suddenly came through the screen.

He started chasing me and I ran as fast as I could.

I kept running until I broke out of the house, Adam was still behind.

He eventually caught up to me while people saw Adam for once. He grabbed me by the neck, I luckily managed to strike him in the eye.

He was knocked over by the force, but he managed to get up with all his force and rise like an angel; but he was a demon.

Suddenly, everything turned gray, and everything froze. I saw Adam in the sky getting bigger and bigger, he was clearly angry.

I felt like there was a way I could stop this though. I suddenly saw Adam’s hands coming closer as he got scarier and scarier.

He put out a dark laugh as his hand struck the ground. I suddenly flew with the force until I hit a wall. I didn’t give up, though.

I felt the ground shaking, I had to do something.

I searched around and didn’t think anything until I realized something was wrong, was time really frozen? If time had stopped, Earth would stop, but Earth goes approximately 67,000 mph, or 107,000 kilometers per hour. The brute force of Earth stopping would send me flying at a speed that would instantly kill me, and the only reason that wouldn’t happen if Earth wasn’t stopped was gravity! I get it now, everyone is frozen, not everything. I had an idea. If Adam came out of the VCR, what if I rewinded the tape?

I suddenly saw Adam coming closer, until he grabbed me.

“Time to die…” I heard as he got closer. He struck, and I was knocked unconscious. I suddenly woke up seeing myself in the house, but not in a forest. I looked out the window to see pitch black outside. I barged open the door to see myself in a void. I stepped foot out, and there was no ground. I suddenly heard a dark voice behind me. It was a man with a mask on, the same look as Adam, but he was holding a hatchet, and he struck. It barely missed me, and I had enough time to run.

I ran but there were a ton of items that I couldn’t get through.

 I saw Adam coming closer as I was right at the open door.

I fought back enough to luckily push him off.

Adam grabbed on for dear life until I stepped on his finger, he fell into the cold, dark void. 

I suddenly felt a force pulling me through towards the void, but I had to fight back. I suddenly felt the breeze getting more and more intense. Something pushed me out. I fell for what seemed like forever until I saw the ground, I was going too fast. I hit the ground with brute force, but I wasn’t in pain. Suddenly, everything went to the gray town where Adam was at his worst. I had to get the VHS tape, so I ran to the house. I barged in to run upstairs to hopefully make it in time. I kept running through the dark blue wallpapers that change every time a new hallway appears. I eventually found the VHS room. So I inserted the tape and nearly held the rewind button, but Adam was right behind me. He threw me across the room, but I couldn’t give up.

I grabbed an old hatchet on the wall and threw it right at Adam’s head.

The hatchet hit Adam right in the head, but it did nothing.

He lunged at me, but I luckily dodged. I ran until I could barely breathe. Adam seemed to change. He got bigger, his claws were sharper, and Adam looked like a beast. He ran towards me, he was too fast. I kept running until I saw a door. I ran towards it but the door was locked.

I saw Adam getting closer, and he lunged at me. I barely dodged, and Adam broke through the door. I ran inside and saw a closet, so when Adam wasn’t looking, I hid inside.

Adam was slowly lurking through the room, but he was attacking the wall for no reason. But then the wall was destroyed, showing a huge secret room with skeletons everywhere, but I could barely move without nearly screaming. So when Adam wasn’t looking, I ran for it. I saw the hallway leading towards the VHS room, but Adam was right behind me.

Somehow, the hallway was extending longer and longer, but I didn’t give up. I kept running until I fell to the ground, and Adam was right in front of me. He walked closer and closer until suddenly, I felt a stinging pain in my head, and I fell unconscious.

I suddenly found myself in a dark room with no walls or ceiling, just a floor, and it was endless. I somehow saw a flashlight on the floor, and I picked it up. I turned on the flashlight and saw a blood trail leading somewhere, so I decided to follow it. I walked for what felt like forever until I finally saw something in the distance, a shadow. I walked towards it to see Adam.

He glared at me, and he lunged. I ran for my life until I saw something, an elevator. I entered the elevator and went to the lowest floor there was.

It went down slowly until I felt something above me. Suddenly, the walls were dirt, I must be deep underground, but then Adam came out of a dirt tunnel and attacked the elevator.

He managed to cut the wires, completely destroying the elevator. It was going insanely fast down until the elevator crashed. I suddenly saw an old mineshaft, it must have been built beneath the house.

I got up and walked through the mineshaft until I saw an old ladder. I didn’t know what to do with it, so I kept it there because I couldn’t just carry it. I searched near the area to find a red circle on a dirt wall and a shovel. I decided to dig, and I found an entrance to the house from there. I walked towards the house entrance to see a staircase leading to another room, so I walked up the stairs. I opened the door to find myself in an old vent that I had to crawl through. I went into the vent to see what was on the other side.

I kept crawling until I heard footsteps below me. I looked down to see Adam walking through the kitchen. I kept crawling until I saw what looked like an exit. I tried opening the vent but it wouldn’t budge. I kept trying until Adam saw and lunged at the vent. I had to escape, so I looked for another exit, and I saw another tunnel, so I crawled through. I heard a vent door slam open. I had to escape. I kept crawling until I finally found an exit, but it wouldn’t open. Adam was right behind me, walking slowly. I tried with all my strength to open the vent, but it wouldn’t open, I kept trying until Adam was right behind me. I finally managed to break open the door and escape into the house. I ran into a closet and stayed there until Adam was gone. I exited the closet to find an old knife in the kitchen. I put it in my pocket in case Adam returned. I searched around to finally see what was outside, it was even worse, the Earth was collapsing into pieces. I had to rewind the tape soon, I knew where it was. I rushed towards the room to see it extending again, and Adam noticed me. I ran for it. I kept moving until I finally saw the door getting closer, I broke in and locked the door. I looked around to find the VCR and turn it on.

I finally found the VCR and inserted the VHS tape.

I turned it on and grabbed the remote, I searched through all the buttons as Adam was banging on the door. I finally found the rewind button, so I pressed it. Adam broke in and lunged at me, but he was being pulled into the VCR, but he fought back until he attacked, and the VCR shut off, causing what felt like a shockwave, and I fell to the floor.

I finally got up to see Adam as a doll. Just a doll.

I picked it up, and I knew exactly where to hide it.

I returned home to see mom, dad, and Jayden, they acted like nothing ever happened. I returned to my room to put the doll in my closet.

I knew I survived everything, but something felt… off.

I waited there, as if the doll would return to its form as a demon, but nothing was happening. I knew the day would eventually come, however. So I waited.

Tuesday: December 8, 2041:

Jayden died today, out of nowhere, doctors say they don’t even know what happened here.

Thursday: January 3, 2056:

Every night I feel like something is stalking me, as if it’s still alive.

Wednesday: June 12, 2066

I still feel that sensation every night, but I can’t destroy it, the demon will come out and kill me, my child and grandchild.

Friday: September 2, 2077,

I should see Katie soon, but I can’t leave Adam alone.

Thursday, November 8, 2080:

I decided that I needed to do something with the doll, so I opened the closet after years, but nothing was there, Adam was gone. I had to find him, I saw a note on the ground. It said “Find me… before Katie does.”

I need to get there soon before it’s too late. I walked out of my house, entered the car, and started to get there. It’s gonna take a long time, but I need to get there on time.

Friday, November 9, 2080:

I found the forest near Katie’s home. I know the house is hiding there, and from what I’ve researched, victims see this house in every forest they enter.

THIS TOOK ME OVER A YEAR NOW TIME FOR THE SEQUEL!!
