None of the tributes know why they're here, or who brought them here. All they know is that if they want to survive, they'll have to fight for it.
Welcome back to another season of the Hunger Games, back by popular demand! I’m your host, Chris McLean, and here we are, back with another killing game! Because Monika won last time, no contestants from DDLC will have to participate this time around.
This time around, we decided to focus a little bit more on the story aspect than we did at the start of last season. I can't believe this started this as a joke and now I'm actually creating lore for it. What the f*** has this come to?
This arena will be set in a Jungle-like environment. Large trees, animals from South America, a gigantic volcano in the middle of the map and a nearby ocean will all be featured this year!
Who will die? Who will survive? Who will be the winner of the second game? Let's find out!
Anyways, looks like this game is going to be quite the show! And, without further ado, let the Bloodbath begin!
---------
THE BLOODBATH
---------
All the tributes leave their podiums as the loud horn blares.
-
Throughout all of the chaos, Ennard is able to grab a lighter and some rope from the cornucopia. He helps out Mangle and gives Mangle a backpack before both of them run away from the Cornucopia. Looks like things are going well for them so far.
-
Amanda Young gets paranoid, and searches for the nearest weapon she can get from the cornucopia. She gets a long sword. When Blastoise tries to go near her, she threatens to kill him if he gets any closer. Blastoise tries to reason with Amanda by putting his hands up, but Amanda doesn’t trust him.
-
Eventually, the two break out in a fight, and through the carnage, Amanda is able to kill Blastoise with her sword, making this the first kill of the game! Weird. The first victim of this game is a Pokemon, and last game’s first victim was Gardevoir, who was also a Pokemon, too. Huh.
Mei Hatsume meanwhile is able to spot a backpack full of all kinds of camping equipment. Thanks to her inventor skills, this could come in handy later. She takes the camping bag and quickly runs off, narrowly avoiding the other tribunes.
-
Chara runs towards the cornucopia. She sets her eyes on a pair of sharp, beautiful knives, but Rantaro reaches them first. Chara tries to threaten Rantaro, but Rantaro gives her a look so terrifying and angry that Chara runs off scared. There was something about that guy’s expression that set her off balance.
In the middle of the cornucopia, Ellen Ripley and Tenya Iida begin fighting over a bag of food. After a long struggle, Ellen gives up and Iida runs away with the bag. Ellen knows that she’ll need to find another source of food somewhere else in the arena. Iida’s chances of survival are looking up so far.
-
Chuck Norris was able to grab a shovel from the cornucopia before disappearing into the jungle. He’s making sure to gather as many materials as he can in the luscious jungle.
-
Dunkey and Niki fight out over a bag of supplies. The fight goes on for a while until Dunkey decides to give up and run from Niki. “Uh-oh, Dunkey busted!”, he cried out before running into the jungle. Niki takes her bag of supplies and meets up with Fundy, with whom she shares some of her supplies with. So far, they have enough food to make it through the next few days.
-
Elsewhere, Jason Voorhees accidentally stepped on a landmine and blew himself up. Wow. I wasn’t expecting the legendary serial killer to go out like a weak-ass punk, to be honest. I wished he would have survived longer to kill off some more tribunes, if I’m being honest. This makes this the second kill of the game so far.
All of the other tribunes run off into the jungle and scatter. Some grab a few extra bags while they leave, like Modeus. And that’s the end of the bloodbath and the beginning of the first day of the Hunger Games.
------------------------
DAY ONE
-
Our contestants have spread out across the jungle-like arena, hoping to find anywhere safe.
-
Modeus found a trident in the bag that she snatched with her. Lucky for her, there was a nearby river where she could try to catch some fish. Since she didn’t have any fishing net, she had to use her trident to get some fish. It is a very long and frustrating process, and she spends the next few hours at it, but she finally manages to get ahold of a trout. There’s my food, now all I need is to set up a campfire and I’ll be good to go, Modeus thought. She stays away from the other tribunes for the rest of the day.
-
Meanwhile, Mei Hatsume and Ennard form a temporary alliance with each other. Mei is fascinated by how Ennard’s mechanisms work, but Ennard doesn’t take too much interest in Mei. Although, the two of them are on good terms since there was no reason to start fighting each other yet. Mei sets up a small camp with the materials she found with Ennard’s help. Afterwards, the two of them talk to each other about what’s going on back home with their lives. Mei tells Ennard about UA and All Might, while Ennard tells Mei about the...Funtime incident. Mei tries to figure out how to replicate Ennard’s design.
Papyrus the Skeleton runs off into the jungle and searches for some food. Luckily, he is able to find Blue’s secret base. Papyrus waits for the velociraptor to go away from her base before he makes his move. While Blue isn’t looking, Papyrus is able to carefully steal some food from Blue and runs off back into the jungle unscathed. “Thanks goodness! That raptor could’ve killed me if I wasn’t careful!”, he said to himself.
Scizor tries to find a source of water, as she starts to get thirstier and thirstier. She avoids a colony of killer ants while she searches.
-
Mangle decides to go away from the forest and go to the higher rocky regions of the arena. Mangle is taking advantage of the high ground while she can. Even though there aren’t a lot of resources there, she knows that not too many tribunes will be there, either. Mangle thinks it's best to avoid getting near any tribunes for now.
-
Chuck Norris gets some clean water from a sponsor from WilburSoot. He continues digging out a trench to make his base in the jungle. He also forages around for some berries, too.
-
Fundy and Lara meet up with each other, and the two of them work together to find food for the day. While walking through the jungle, they’re able to find a capybara. Armed with a spear, Fundy prepares to strike. Lara is able to chase and scare the capybara while Fundy corners it and kills it. The hunt is successful, and now both Lara and Fundy have some food to share together. “Thanks for the help. I appreciate it,” Fundy tells her.
While in the jungle with his bag of food, Iida comes across paths with Rantaro. Iida isn’t too alarmed at first before Rantaro shows off his sharp knives. With the same death stare he used before, he is able to scare off Iida and send him running for the hills. With Iida’s quickness, he was able to do it pretty quickly, too. Rantaro meanwhile searches for a sloth or a monkey to eat. His skills as the Ultimate Survivor will definitely come in handy in this game.
-
Meanwhile, Chara, Scout, Amanda Young, and Cal Kestis separately go hunting for other tributes. None of the four is successful in finding any, though.
-
Kirumi Tojo gets a sponsorship of food from Dream of all people, surprisingly. Now she has enough food to last her for a few days. She still is on the lookout for any other tributes in the area.
Dunkey begins to question his sanity, although I doubt he was ever sane to begin with.
-
Tanjiro the Demon Slayer begins building a small shack out of some wood, mud, and stones lying around. With the vines he found, he is able to hold together his very own little base to sleep under. It takes him almost the entire day, but in the end, it’s worth it. The little shack he’s built will definitely suit as a base. “Next I’ll need to find some food and water,” Tanjiro said to himself. “I also need to watch out for the other tribunes.”
-
Nightmare Chica begins building a mud shack near the riverside away from Tanjiro.
-
Niki is able to receive medical supplies from an unknown sponsor. At least she’ll be prepared if she gets injured.
-
Ellen Ripley decides to go looking for food during the day. She ends up pricking herself collecting berries, but other than that, she’s fine.
-----------------------------------------------
NIGHT ONE
Mei looks up at the night-time sky, wondering how the games are going to turn out the next morning. She set up a little mini-base for Ennard to stay in as well. She’s thankful that she’s alive, for now. Before going to sleep, she sets up her sleeping bag and hopes things go right in the morning.
-
Ennard experiences nightmares of the past, however. Mei has to calm him down in order to get him to sleep. Other than that, the two of them are relatively well and survive the night.
-
Chara also has nightmares of all the people that she’s killed in her past life when she tries to sleep. No matter how hard she tries, the images of those victims keep appearing in her mind. Definitely NOT a picture you would want to imagine.
Amanda is able to receive some food from an unknown sponsor before going to sleep.
-
Scizor gets a bacterial infection, and she tries to treat it before it poisons her.
-
Chuck Norris climbs up a jungle tree to find a place to sleep under. He stays there for the rest of the night and dreams about the next morning.
-
Fundy almost drowns in a river when he’s not looking, but he survives this. Lara and him split up earlier. Fundy tries to find somewhere to rest for the rest of the night. He meets up with Niki and the two of them decide to set up camp for the night and wait it out.
-
Rantaro is easily able to build a shack out of nearby materials to sleep under. He also made sure to keep out any dangerous animal wildlife. There’s all kinds of creatures waiting out there to kill you in the jungle, he thought.
-
Nightmare Chica has trouble falling asleep. Meanwhile, Papyrus sets up camp for the night.
-
Dunkey is able to make a sleeping area out of the nearby leaves and makes camp for the night. He falls asleep without any problems. He also finds a spare C4 device. This is gonna come in handy.
-
Cal and Kirumi meet up, and the two of them agree to work together for the night. Neither trusts the other, so both of them watch each other’s backs. They slept away from each other, each keeping sure that neither of them was going to turn their backs on the other.
-
Mangle tries to heal her infection. Mangle is able to heal it in time to rest for the night.
-
Scout is able to somehow start a fire to keep himself warm throughout the night. Away from the other tribunes, he is able to sleep through the night peacefully.
Tanjrio leaves his shack and goes out to search for materials. While he makes sure to watch his surroundings, he meets up with Blue and Lara in the night. The three of them agree to work together to attack a nearby camp. This one belonged to Modeus. “Let’s take care of the demon ourselves,” Tanjiro told the other two. Tanjiro has always had angry feelings towards demons. Those monsters were the reason his family was dead. Most of his family, anyway. Besides, he needed some more materials to survive out here, anyway.
Modeus was prepared for their attack, though. As Tanjiro and Blue led the offensive front, Modeus was skilled enough with her trident to fend them off. Even with Lara, Modeus was not willing to give up her territory to them. Eventually, the three of them turn away because they realize it’s not worth the struggle. I’ll defeat her eventually, Tanjiro thought.
Tenya is hiding out in a small cave he found while exploring until morning. He wonders what will happen tomorrow.
-
Ellen is hiding in the trees of the jungle, with the rest of the monkeys.
Survivors: 22
Dead: 2
Blastoise - Stabbed to death by Amanda, Bloodbath
Jason Voorhees - Blew himself up on a landmine, Bloodbath
------------------
That's all for now! Wait until next time to see what happens next! More lore will be revealed later on!
