The lost Pokemon of the day is.. Madaamu!

The internet went WILD when this scrapped Farfetch'd evolution was leaked back in 2018 (keep in mind this predates the announcement of Sirfetch'd for Pokemon Sword and Shield, and those games in the first place) Madaamu was leaked from the Spaceworld 1997 demo suddenly surfacing online, evolving from Farfetch'd at Level 24 . It would be redrawn to fit more with the other sprites of Gold and Silver on March 4th of 1999, which, oddly enough, didn't have any evolution data linking it to Farfetch'd for a short time, before it was assigned a new evolution method on July 21st, 1999 where it would evolve from Farfetch'd with high friendship. After that, this Pokemon was removed, and its shiny ended up getting used for Wooper (which I'll end up covering another day) Oh yeah, it had a shiny, which was presumably made on the same day of its redesign
