The protagonists of popular Christmas films with a canine companion who hijcak the holiday while dressing up as Santa, although with contrasting views on it (Jack was intrigued and fascinated by Christmas while the Grinch hated it), but after learning the true meaning of Christmas they grew to appreciate the holiday in a newer light and sought out to fix it (Jack replacing all of the monsterous Halloween toys with actual harmless ones, and the Grinch giving the citizens of Whoville their presents back). Both also contrast in one being an icon in their town and the other one being an outcast living in the outskirts of their town.
